But first, what’s the best way to explore Noosa

Firstly, you’re going to need to pick up your camper. The maui Brisban branch is conveniently located so you can easily access the branch from either the city or the airport, wherever you are coming from. Once you’ve picked up your vehicle, you can then hit the road. There are some great spots to stop in along the drive from Brisbane to Noosa, such as Bribie Island for a delicious bite to eat, or even a detour through the Glass House Mountains where you’ll be treated to some incredible scenery.

Stroll through Noosa National Park

First up on our list (and this one is a  must-do while in Noosa) is to take a relaxing stroll through the Noosa National Park. You can wander along the coastal track that hugs the coastline and offers picture perfect views of the sparkling bays, hidden coves and lush bushland. If you do the full coastal track you’ll come to Hell’s Gate which offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, from A-Bay all the way across to Double Island Point. You can take the walk at your own pace, stopping along the way to take a few pictures or even go for a dip at the lovely Tea Tree Bay.

Go for a swim at Noosa Main Beach

Noosa Main Beach is one of the more popular beaches in the area and when you get here you’ll see why. With usually calm, crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming, plenty of space to soak up some sunshine and a relaxing atmosphere, this is a wonderful beach to add to your road trip travel itinerary. Plus, after some time in the sunshine you can wander up for a drink or bite to eat on Hastings Street, or follow the boardwalk that takes you right along the beach down to the Noosa river mouth.

Roam down Hastings Street

Speaking of Hastings Street, this is the main thoroughfare in Noosa and is where arguably some of the best shopping and dining in the area can be found. Whether it’s a morning coffee and bite to eat at Providore before exploring the Noosa National Park, a delicious ice cream from Massimo’s after a day at the beach, or some fish and chips at the Noosa Heads Surf Club overlooking Noosa Main Beach in the evening, there is something to suit every traveller here. Plus, both men and women are spoilt for choice when it comes to boutique shopping with a mix of well-known and lesser-known brands on show.

Explore Noosa river

All those who love to get out on the water on a boat, either for a relaxing ride to take in the sights, a spot of fishing or to swim at a secluded spot, you’re in for a real treat. While in Noosa you’ll have many options when it comes to hiring a boat to enjoy a day cruise on the Noosa River, allowing you to do things on your own time and see parts of Noosa that you may have otherwise not seen.
