Home to wild rivers, ancient pine trees, and giant dunes, the west coast of Tasmania is famously wild. For something more laid back, cruise down the magical Gordon River or hike past 1000-year-old Huon pines in one of the last temperate rainforests in the world. Known as one of Australia's last wilderness frontier's – be sure to include a trip to this region on your next Tassie road trip.
